Man is accused of raping 13-year-old girl in Oklahoma City
Oklahoma City police have arrested a man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl several times and giving her alcohol to drink.
Rogelio Saavedra, 22, was arrested on a complaint of rape after the girl ran to a neighbor's apartment in the 10000 block of N Council Road about 9 p.m. Friday.
According to a police report, the girl was “knocking aggressively and crying” at a neighbor's door and said she had been raped. The girl later told police Saavedra has raped her several times since August.
The tenant told police the girl smelled like alcohol, and the girl said Saavedra made her drink.
She told police she was in an apartment with Saavedra about 7 p.m. Friday when he asked her if she wanted to drink.
She said the two of them began playing a drinking game and she had five shots of liquor.
According to the report, the girl said Saavedra forced himself on top of her and covered her mouth while he raped her.
Police found Saavedra in the apartment, with four young children.
He is being held on $25,000 bail at the Oklahoma County jail.
