A man is accused of raping a 14-year-old Oklahoma City girl, whose mother pressured the teenager and her two younger siblings to drink alcohol before the assault occurred, according to a police report.

Edurado Perez, 34, was arrested Feb. 13 on a complaint of rape and booked into the Oklahoma County jail. The mother of the victim was arrested on a complaint of contributing to the delinquency of minors for allowing and encouraging her children to drink alcohol.

Police were called to the Oklahoma City home about 8:30 p.m. in reference to a rape. The victim's boyfriend reported the incident after the girl told him Perez raped her while she was under the influence of alcohol.

Her two siblings, ages 12 and 10, told officers they went to the liquor store with their mother earlier that day. They said she had been trying to get them to drink liquor but they refused.

Police said the girl told them she stayed home from school Feb. 13 and began drinking with her mother and Perez at noon. She said she had about five drinks and went to lie down on a bed.

Police said the girl told them she fell asleep and was awakened by Perez touching her inappropriately. She said she told him to stop and he left the room.

A few hours later, the victim said Perez came into the room while she was on the phone with her boyfriend and forced himself on top of her. She said she still was drunk when Perez raped her, according to the report.

The girl's boyfriend told police he could hear “moaning over the telephone,” and told his father so he could report it to police.

Officers went to the home and interviewed the girl's mother, who said no one was assaulted. She told police Perez was in a bedroom with her, drinking throughout the day.

The girl and her two siblings have been placed in the custody of the state Department of Human Services.

Perez is being held in the Oklahoma County jail on $50,000 bail. Bail was set at $500 for the mother.
