Oklahoma City man with toddler in car arrested on drunken driving complaint
A 19-year-old Oklahoma City man is free on bail after being arrested on a drunken driving complaint while driving with a toddler in the back seat.
According to a police report, an officer stopped Barry Montrel Relo just after midnight Feb. 7 after seeing him cross the center line on Hefner Road near Pennsylvania, nearly hitting another car head-on.
Relo did not have a driver's license, and officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol on him. A 1-year-old child was in a car seat in the back of the car. The report said Relo took two breath tests at the Oklahoma County jail, both registering a blood alcohol level of .11.
Relo was arrested on complaints of driving under the influence, child endangerment by DUI and driving without a license. Relo did not respond to calls seeking comment Monday.
