Oklahoma City police identify 7-year-old drowning victim
Oklahoma City police are investigating the drowning of Landon Siran, 7, in a swimming pool Sunday as an accident.
Master Sgt. Gary Knight said the boy's mother and uncle took a nap about 3 p.m. Sunday at 11712 Burning Oaks Road, near SE 44 and Anderson Road, and could not find him when they awoke.
After calling police, family members found the boy floating in the aboveground swimming pool and tried to resuscitate him.
Landon was taken to The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
